In 1973 Bill Martin recorded “Piano Man” as a tribute to his early days appearing at the Executive Room in the Wilshire District of Los Angeles. In 1970 I saw Elton John at UCLA Royce Hall perform “Your Song” and it inspired me…come enjoy the music of two of the most prolific piano singer/songwriters of our time.
